We are on a mission to eliminate single-use plastic and toxic chemicals commonly found in household commodities like dryer sheets, fabric fresheners and pet toys by offering reusable zero waste alternatives. To us, nothing is more important than the health of our environment. That is why all our products are reusable, plastic free, cruelty free, fair trade, and compostable.

HAND MADE WITH LOVE

All the products we sell are lovingly handmade for fair wages by underprivileged women and people with disabilities in Kathmandu, Nepal. With high standards for ethical working conditions, medical care, education, and purpose, we strive to empower people while respecting animals and nature.

SUSTAINABLY SOURCED

Our wool is sourced from a small consortium of family-owned farms in New Zealand, where sheep are ethically raised and humanely sheared. These farms operate with a strong commitment to animal welfare and environmental care — no mulesing, chemicals, hormones, or pesticides are ever used. This ensures our wool is both kind to animals and gentle on the planet.

PLASTIC FREE, ALWAYS

We’re committed to a plastic-free approach in all our packaging and shipping. When external packaging is needed, we use organic unbleached cotton muslin bags, or 100% tree-free Lokta paper bags - a sustainable alternative handmade from renewable resources. Our shipping materials are made from post-consumer recycled content, and everything we use is fully recyclable and compostable, ensuring minimal impact on the environment.

1 MILLION TREES PLANTED

We plant one tree with every purchase of a Friendsheep product, thanks to our partnership with theEden: People+Planet. So far, we've planted over 1,000,000 trees - and provided 10,000+ days of fair trade work to the people planting them!
