At Friendsheep we take responsibility for our products throughout their entire life cycle, and we‘re here to close the loop. If you're ready to replace your old dryer balls we would like to help you find a graceful end of life for them. There are lots of fun ways to repurpose and reuse your retired dryer balls, discover them on our blog “10 Ways to Repurpose Your Old dryer Balls”. That said, we understand that not everyone has the time and resources to compost or repurpose their old dryer balls and we don’t want them to end up in the trash bin. We believe that the landfill should be our last resort and we’re happy to offer you a new way to upcycle your old dryer balls: send them to us!

We’re collecting your used, loved and retired wool dryer balls and giving them a new life. If the balls are still intact, we donate them to animal rescues so that their residents can play with fun, non toxic toys. If they can’t be donated, we will recycle or compost them.

Step 1

Place your old dryer balls in a repurposed mailer/box - avoid plastic if possible ;) - and send to:

Make sure to add inside a note with your name, email address, and “TAKE BACK”

Step 2

Claim a TAKE BACK $5 off code at rewards@friendsheepwool.com. As soon as we receive your package, we will email you a personal code to use on your next purchase. Please allow 7-10 days from your shipping date for processing.

Your old dryer balls will be upcycled as pet toys with our rescue partners, or they will be properly recycled with textile recycling or composted.
