We adopted a family of four ferrel kittens during the pandemic who were desperate for a home and we now have a herd of 8 cats! We decided to try the Eco Kitty Cave but were worried, would they like it? one, and would they fit? as several of the cat are quite big. We opened it yesterday on Christmas morning and the first exploration of it happened with in minutes. We did not add catnip but just put it out as is. Five of our eight cats have been in it and laid down. Whisky Biscuit was the first tester and she got in immediately within 5 minutes of it landing on the floor. She did a preliminary scent check, climbed in, found the perfect spot and fell fast asleep. Later when it was cat free, Timothy Ticket spent five minutes turning around and around in it to get settled and then he rolled on his back. We kept seeing a head, then a tail, then feet, then a nose and on and on for five minutes before he took a nap. He is a 10 pound cat. Snicker toes who has 26 toes and who weights in at 19 pounds explored it with caution by entering with only his front half to check it out and then he left. Hours later I saw him re-enter and he laid right down and made it home. I was worried if he would fit and he did with plenty of room so a much bigger cat could fit comfortably. Groot T Toot our shy boy was found fast asleep later in the day and Jiminy Cricket was also found have one of his many daily naps fast asleep and snuggled into the cave. The cave is sturdy and impressively beautiful. Trouble, Blueberry Cocopuff, and KitKat have not yet enter the cave but I am sure they will. It has after all been here less than 24 hours and it has had a high occupancy rate. My question for the Friend Sheep Wool folks is will you offer a discount if we buy in bulk??? Thanks of providing us with a great product! We love the entire story of your company!!!
