Make laundry better — the natural way.
Handcrafted from 100% New Zealand wool, our Eco Dryer Balls naturally soften fabrics, cut drying time, and reduce waste — no chemicals, no plastic, no nonsense.

Why you'll love these
  • Naturally softens fabrics without chemicals and helps prevent static and wrinkles
  • Reusable for over 1,000 loads, replaces 2000+ single-use dryer sheets
  • Reduces drying time by up to 40%, saves energy and money - lowers utility bills
  • Hypoallergenic and fragrance-free, safe for sensitive skin and baby clothes
  • Colorfast, eco-friendly, azo-free dyes that never bleed — safe for any load!
  • Toxin-free, plastic-free, and compostable at the end of their life
How to use
  1. Toss all eco dryer balls into the dryer with your wet laundry.
  2. Run your preferred drying cycle (we love moisture-sensitive settings!) — the balls will gently lift and separate fabrics, reducing drying time, static, and wrinkles.
  3. Remove clothes as usual. Leave the dryer balls inside the dryer or store them in a dry place between loads.
  4. Repeat! Your dryer balls are ready for back-to-back loads — no waiting needed.
Pro Tip: Add a few drops of your favorite essential oil — we love our Sun is Shining organic blend — to the dryer balls before the cycle for naturally fresh, lightly scented laundry.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many dryer balls should I use per load?

Use 3-4 balls for small loads, 5-6 balls for medium loads, and 6-8 balls for large loads. More balls = faster drying time and better fabric softening!

How long do wool dryer balls last?

With proper care, our dryer balls last 1000+ loads, which is typically 2-5 years depending on your laundry frequency. They're a one-time purchase that replaces thousands of disposable dryer sheets.

Can I use essential oils with these dryer balls?

Yes! Add 2-3 drops of your favorite essential oil to each ball before starting the dryer for natural fragrance. We recommend our organic essential oil blends for the best results.

Are these safe for sensitive skin and babies?

Absolutely! Made from 100% organic New Zealand wool with no chemicals, dyes, or synthetic materials. They're hypoallergenic and perfect for babies, sensitive skin, and people with allergies.

How do I clean my dryer balls?

Hand wash in cold water with mild soap when needed (every 2-3 months), then air dry or tumble dry on low heat. If they start to look fuzzy, simply trim any loose fibers with scissors.

Fun Color Great Product

This is my 3rd set of Friendsheep Eco Dry Balls - I love them. They are so easy to use! The Purple Haze set is a fun set of shades of purple to have in the dryer!

I’ve been using these for more than a year and absolutely love them. They’re great for static on clothes and for drying pillows (instead of tennis balls), and our clothes no longer have either that weird dryer-sheet film or that “limp” feeling from using dryer sheets. I’ve purchased two more sets as gifts. Better for clothes, better for the environment, and so much cheaper than buying dryer sheets!

Purple Haze dyer ball set

I bought this set for my younger brother who recently moved to a house close to us. He laughed when he told me about seeing the name. He is a Jimi Hendrix fan and started singing the song. His new house is ranch style. He can tell when the dryer stops by listening for tumbling sound to stop.
