COVID-19 Oxygen for Nepal
We are funding oxygen concentrators for Nepal.
May 2021. A new deadly wave of COVID-19 has hit Nepal.
The whole country has been in lockdown for the last 2 weeks, trying to mitigate the surge of cases they are facing. The situation, however, is rapidly spiraling out of control. Hospitals are over capacity, test kits are scarce, and more importantly there is an extreme shortage of oxygen, for hospitals and home use. Our friends tell us there's an average 6 to 10 hour line just to fill an oxygen canister for their family members!
Together with our Nepali partners and the Rotary Club of Kathmandu we are raising money to purchase life saving medical equipment for Nepal. We're funding the purchase of hospital grade oxygen concentrators. Each of them costing $1250, they will help decrease the need for pure oxygen on the healthcare system. They will also allow people with oxygen needs (asthma, COPD, etc), who are most at risk, to safely quarantine in their homes.
Every day for the next two weeks, we'll be donating 100% of our profits from three different products to this effort. Keep an eye out for our emails - you can subscribe at the bottom of this page - and check our social feeds. Each day we'll select three of our bestsellers, by purchasing them you'll fund life saving medical equipment for Nepal.
We've also set up a special product, "COVID-19 Oxygen for Nepal". 100% of this purchase will go directly to the oxygen concentrator fund - no physical product will be sent. Choose the amount you wish to donate, and purchase as many as you like if you want to donate more.
